Summer has finally arrived!

And it's only the end of July!

The past week has been fantastic. It's been clear, bright and in the eighties. It is finally summertime, and that's means summertime fun. Look! Sundresses!

And shorts!

There's been plenty of backyard water play (and drinking).

And on Saturday, we went for a bike ride and had a picnic.

After our ride and picnic, we tried to watch a bit of Twelfth Night, which they were performing in a grassy spot not too far from our house.

We weren't close enough to the stage, though, and by that point the kids (and Eric and I) were hot and tired, so we packed it in and went home.

Although I'm incredibly distracted and getting far less school work done than I ought to be, I certainly hope this summer weather sticks around for awhile!
